Staates Südaustralien, 11 km oberhalb der Mündung des Murray, ist durch Eisenbahn mit Adelaide verbunden und hat zahlreiche Warenlager, Schiffswerften und (:901) über 600 Einw. Da die Murraymündung für Seeschiffe nicht passierbar ist, so geht der Handel zwischen Adelaide und den ergiebigen Weidedistrikten am Murray, Darling und Murrumbidschi hauptsächlich über G.
