(26,403 Hindu, 6047 Mohammedaner), sehr bedeutendem Handel mit vorzüglicher Baumwolle und Fabrikation von Baumwollenstoffen (6000 Arbeiter) sowie von Wollen-, Seiden- und andern Stoffen (12,000 Arbeiter).
