Ambōni, Dorf in Deutsch-Ostafrika, am Sigifluß, nahe der Tangabucht, eine Niederlassung der Wasseqeju, dabei auf einem Hügel ein Vorwerk der Westdeutschen Handels- und Plantagengesellschaft. Oberhalb des Ortes entspringen am Flusse warme Schwefelquellen (37°), die zu Kurzwecken benutzt werden.
