Eudokĭa, 1) Gemahlin des oström. Kaisers Theodosius II., s. Athenais.

2) (Ingerina) Gemahlin des byzantin. Kaisers Basilius I. (867–886), vorher Maitresse seines Vorgängers, Michaels III.

3) E. Makrembolitissa, Tochter des byzantin. Kaisers Konstantin VIII., Gattin Konstantins X. Dukas (1059–67), heiratete bald nach dessen Tode Romanos IV. Diogenes und erhob ihn auf den Thron; nach dessen Sturz 1071 von ihrem Sohn Michael VII. in ein Kloster gesteckt, widmete sie sich den Wissenschaften. Ein ihr bis in die Neuzeit zugeschriebenes Lexikon, betitelt: »Ionia« (Violarium), mythische, historische und antiquarische Notizen und Erzählungen enthaltend (hrsg. von Flach, Leipz. 1880), ist jetzt als eine Kompilation des Griechen Konstantinos Palaiokappa (gest. 1551) erwiesen.
