Dugout (engl., spr. dögg-aut, »ausgehöhlt«), Einbaum, ein Boot aus einem ausgehöhlten Baumstamm mit rundem Schilfdach, dient in Britisch-Indien zur Beförderung der Post auf Flüssen.
