Domitĭus Marsus

Domitĭus Marsus, röm. Dichter, Zeitgenosse und Freund des Vergil und Tibull, verfaßte eine »Cicuta« (Schierling) betitelte Sammlung beißender Epigramme; Martial erkennt in ihm seinen Vorgänger. Die geringen Überreste seiner Gedichte erschienen bei Baehrens, Fragmenta poetarum romanorum (Leipz. 1886).
