Discus (lat.), Wurfscheibe, s. Diskos; in der Botanik soviel wie Blütenscheibe oder Blütenpolster, eine Anschwellung des Blütenbodens zwischen Blumenblättern und Pistill, bald ein ringförmiger Wulst, bald eine kissenartige Scheibe, ist meist mit zuckerhaltigem Saft (Nektar) überzogen.
