Dinapur (Danapur), Stadt im Distrikt Patna der britisch-ind. Provinz Bengalen, am Ganges, 14 km oberhalb Patna an der Eisenbahn nach Kalkutta, mit Garnison und (1891) 44,419 Einw. (32,283 Hindu, 10,624 Mohammedaner, 1491 Christen).
