Dimitsana (Demetsana), Stadt im griech. Nomos Arkadien, in wilder Berglandschaft an einem Zufluß des Ruphia, mit einem Schloß aus der Frankenzeit, Kloster aus dem 10. Jahrh., Museum von Altertümern und (1896) 2400 (Gemeinde 5833) Einw. D. war seit dem Ende des Mittelalters Sitz einer für die Bildung des Peloponnes wichtigen Hochschule.
