Dibbs, Sir George Richard, austral. Staatsmann, geb. 1834, war 1885 (mit einer kurzen Unterbrechung, wo er den Vorsitz des Ministeriums übernommen hatte) Schatz- und Kolonialsekretär für Neusüdwales und 1891–94 ein zweites Mal Premier und Kolonialsekretär. In seinem zweiten Kabinett hatte er den gegenwärtigen Bundespremier Barton zum Kronanwalt.
