Akkum

Akkum, hebr. Abkürzung von »Abodath kochabim umassalot« (Kultus der Sterne und Sternbilder) und »Obed kochabim umassalot« (Diener der Sterne und Sternbilder = Götzendiener), eine Erfidung der Zensur für die ursprünglichen Lesarten der talmudischen Literatur: Aboda sara (Götzendienst), Goi, Nochri u.a. (Nichtjude). Zensurfreie Ausgaben und Handschriften kennen diese Bezeichnung nicht. Vgl. Strack, Einleitung in den Talmud (Leipz. 1901).
