Cheshunt (spr. tschéschönt), Stadt in Hertfordshire (England), am Lea, mit gotischer Kirche (15. Jahrh.), einem berühmten Seminar der Huntingdonianer und (1901) 12,288 Einw. In der Nähe Theobalds Park, im 16. Jahrh. Landsitz des Lord Burleigh.
