Charak (Charedsch), Insel im Persischen Meerbusen, 55 km von Buschir, mit gutem Ankerplatz, Datteln, Perlenfischerei und etwa 1000 Einw. Die Perlen von C. gehören zu den schönsten, sind aber bei der Tiefe des Wassers schwer zu erreichen. C. war 1838–41 und 1856 von den Engländern besetzt.
