Cariāti, Flecken in der ital. Provinz Cosenza, Kreis Rossano, auf einer Anhöhe am Ionischen Meer und an der Eisenbahn Metaponto-Reggio, Bischofsitz, mit einem Seminar und (1901) ca. 2300 (als Gemeinde 4084) Einw., die Öl, Seide und Manna erzeugen.
