Cape Nome (spr. kēp nom), Vorgebirge der Westküste des amerikan. Territoriums Alaska, am Nortonsund des Beringmeeres, unter 64° nördl. Br. und 165° westl. L. Von ihm erstreckt sich nordwestwärts das 1898 entdeckte Cape Nomegoldgebiet mit bedeutenden Goldseifen am Meeresstrand und in den Tälern des Snake- und Nome River. Bereits 1899 entstanden hier die Orte Anvik City an der Snakemündung und Nome City (s.d.) an der Nomemündung.
