Bondeï, Landschaft in Deutsch-Ostafrika zwischen den Flüssen Pangani und Sigi, ein welliges Hügelland, aus Gneis und kristallinischen Schiefern, über dem sich im N. der Mlingaberg (1140 m), im S. der Tongweberg (630 m) erheben. Die Eingebornen sind arbeitsame Ackerbauer. In dem fruchtbaren Gebiet sind mehrere Pflanzungen angelegt, deren älteste die der Deutsch-Ostafrikanischen Plantagengesellschaft in Lewa ist (gegründet 1887). S. Karte »Deutsch-Ostafrika«.
