Zambesia (Sambesia), Distrikt in der portugiesisch-ostafrikan. Kolonie Mosambik (s. d.), zerfällt in die beiden Teile Quelimane (östlich vom Schire und südlich bis zum Sambesi) und Tete (oberes Sambesigebiet).
