Turka, Marktflecken in Galizien, am linken Ufer des Stryj in den Karpathen und an der Staatsbahnlinie Lemberg-Sambor-Sianki, Sitz einer Bezirkshauptmannschaft u. eines Bezirksgerichts, hat Dampfsägen, Handel, Krankenhaus und (1900) 6211 polnische und ruthen. Einwohner (darunter 3820 Juden).
