Benbecūla, eine der Hebrideninseln, an der Nordwestseite von Schottland, zwischen Nord- und Süduist, 65 qkm groß, mit (1891) 1534 meist gälischen Bewohnern. Der westliche Teil ist fruchtbar, der östliche sandig und felsig. Sie enthält mehrere kleine fischreiche Seen und einen guten Hafen an der Ostseite (Loch Uskevagh).
