Sulfikar, afghan. Ortschaft, an der Grenze gegen die russische transkaspische Provinz. am Herirud (s. d.). 508 m ü. M., beherrscht mit dem gleichnamigen Paß (600–700 m) die Straße von Herat nach Merw.
