Pongee

Pongee (japan. Hubutae), glattes, weißes Gewebe, das in Japan aus Rohseide des Ailanthusspinners hergestellt und in bedeutenden Mengen nach Europa gelangt. Es wird auch in Deutschland aus Grègekette und Schappeeinschlag hergestellt.
