Baghelkand (Bagalkhand), britisch-ind. Agentschaft in Zentralindien, zwischen 22°40´-25°10´ nördl. Br. und 80°25´-82°45´ östl. L., 29,328 qkm mit (1901) 1,737,095 Einw., umfaßt die Staaten Rewa, Nagode, Maihar, Sohawal, Kothi und Sidpura Dschagir, alle unter einheimischen Fürsten. B. wird von O. nach W. von der Kaimurkette durchzogen, ihr parallel fließt der an der Südgrenze von B. entspringende Schon (Son) nordöstlich zum Ganges; die Eisenbahn Bombay-Allahabad durchschneidet B. von S. nach N.
