Phöbe [2]

Phöbe (Phoibe, die »Glänzende«), im griech. Mythus Tochter von Uranos und Gäa, von Köos Mutter der Asteria und Leto, nach Themis und vor Apollon Vorsteherin des delphischen Orakels. Später ist P. auch Beiname der Artemis als Mondgöttin. S. auch Leukippiden.
