Perrōne

Perrōne, Giovanni, römisch-kath. Theolog, geb. 11. März 1794 in Chieri, gest. 28. Aug. 1876 in Rom, wirkte als Professor in Rom und in Ferrara und war seit 1850 Rektor des Collegium Romanum. Er hat sich durch folgende in viele europäische Sprachen übersetzte Werke bekannt gemacht: »Praelectiones theologicae« (Rom 1835–42, 9 Bde.; 2. Aufl., das. 1840–44, 9 Bde.; Auszug in 2 Bänden in 47. Aufl., Turin 1896; deutsch als »Kompendium der katholischen Dogmatik«, Landsh. 1852–54, 2 Bde.); »De immaculato b. Virginis Mariae conceptu« (Rom 18471; deutsch, Regensb. 1855); »Il protestantismo e la regola di fede« (Rom 1853, 3 Bde.; deutsch; 2.
