Kellett, Sir Henry, engl. Seefahrer, geb. 2. Nov. 1806 zu Clonacody House in der irischen Grafschaft Tipperary, gest. daselbst 1. März 1875, trat 1822 in die Marine, beteiligte sich mit dem Schiffe Herald an der Franklinsuche und entdeckte dabei 1849 die Heraldinsel. 1852 machte er Belchers arktische Expedition mit, ging 1854 als Kommodore nach Jamaika, wurde 1868 Vizeadmiral und war 1869–71 Oberbefehlshaber der englischen Flotte in den chinesischen Gewässern.
