Goodsir (spr. gúdd-ßör), John, Anatom und Physiolog, geb. 1814 zu Anstruther in Schottland, studierte in Edinburg und starb als Professor daselbst 6. März 1867. Er war nach Hunter der berühmteste Anatom Englands; seine zahlreichen Arbeiten erschienen gesammelt u. d. T.: »Anatomical and pathological observations« (Edinb. 1860). Vgl.
